The devil is always in the details and this project has been no exception. There were some typos on the plans that caused the basement to be built 6 feet too short. (Whups) Fortunately the basement subcontractor and the general contractor came to an understanding in seconds and the error corrected with incredible speed. Had I not actually gone out there when the basement walls were being framed, I think I would have missed it completely.
