Web World's dial in phone numbers
Find the phone number for your area:
How to change the dial up telephone number for:
Windows 95
Windows 3.1
Windows NT 4.0
Macintosh
Windows 95
- Close all programs
- Double click on "My Computer"
- Double click on "Dial-up Networking" folder
- Right click on "Webworldinc" or whatever dial up connection you use to connect to the Internet
- Click on properties
- In the text box labeled "Telephone number", change the entry to the number in your area.
- Click OK
- Close "Dial-up Networking"

Windows 3.1 using Trumpet
- Click on "Dialer"
- Click on "Other"
- Double click on "Setup.cmd"
- Change phone number to the number in your area
- Click OK
- Click OK
- Click OK

Windows NT 4.0
- Close all programs
- Double click on "My Computer"
- Double click on "Dial-up Networking" icon
- In the pull down list box of dial up entries, make sure that "Webworldinc" or whatever dial up connection you use to connect to the Internet is listed
- Click on "More"
- Click on "Edit entry and modem properties"
- On the "Basic" tab, change the "Phone number" to the number in your area.
- Click OK
- Click Close
- Close "My Computer"

- Open ConfigPPP
- Select WebWorldInc entry
- Click on Accounts
- Change the "Phone number" to the number in your area.
