How to change the dial up telephone number for:

Windows 95

Windows 3.1

Windows NT 4.0

Macintosh

Windows 95

1. Close all programs
2. Double click on "My Computer"
3. Double click on "Dial-up Networking" folder
4. Right click on "Webworldinc" or whatever dial up connection you use to connect to the Internet
5. Click on properties
6. In the text box labeled "Telephone number", change the entry to the number in your area.
7. Click OK
8. Close "Dial-up Networking"

Windows 3.1 using Trumpet

1. Click on "Dialer"
2. Click on "Other"
3. Double click on "Setup.cmd"
4. Change phone number to the number in your area
5. Click OK
6. Click OK
7. Click OK

Windows NT 4.0

1. Close all programs
2. Double click on "My Computer"
3. Double click on "Dial-up Networking" icon
4. In the pull down list box of dial up entries, make sure that "Webworldinc" or whatever dial up connection you use to connect to the Internet is listed
5. Click on "More"
6. Click on "Edit entry and modem properties"
7. On the "Basic" tab, change the "Phone number" to the number in your area.
8. Click OK
9. Click Close
10. Close "My Computer"

2. Open Control Panel
3. Open ConfigPPP
4. Select WebWorldInc entry
5. Click on Accounts
6. Change the "Phone number" to the number in your area.
