GILDOR SLM GLASS SLIDING DOOR PACKAGE This office building is in Newport Beach where Gildor designed custom high 1/2" Glass BI-Parting Telescopic Door Packages. All exposed metal is cladded with a polished stainless steel finish. All vertical exposed glass is flat polished with glass returns to fill in between sliding doors and side panels. These packages give you the ultimate elegance and at the same time provide the maximum opening out of a very limited space. This satisfied customer indicated to us that based of his 5-year experience with Gildor in that this door would pay for them in comparison to his maintenance cost with the manual balanced door that we removed from his building. On top of that we where giving them a larger hands free entryway. This photo is a Sephora Store in Honolulu where Gildor created ½" Glass Single Slide Telescopic Automatic Sliding Doors. These Door Packages are in excess of 11' tall with header concealed inside the ceiling above. Due to the overwhelming high, extreme weight and size of these packages Gildor elected to run these on a dual motor drive. Also, the existing condition inside of the ceiling created a situation where we had to run our dual motors upside down and reverse our normal header access. Other unique features of these Door Packages are dual electronic locking systems and of course sensors canceled and mounted inside the header. The doors and side panel rails have been painted satin black and the completed Gildor Automatic Sliding Door Packages match the storefront system. This is a picture of  Stanford Hospital where a 3/4" all glass curtain wall design was in need of automated doors. Once again the challenge was put before Gildor, can you design and build ¾" thick custom glass Automatic Sliding Door Packages with door over 8' tall and in excess of 20' wide. Also lets not forget these sliding doors will need to breakaway and swing for emergency exiting purposes. Due to the structural design of the Gildor header, heavy duty design of the track wheel assembly and overall quality of this product we only needed to run on dual motors and make minor modification to the breakaway system. At the time of writing this the door have been installed for over a year without a service call even though we are moving more than 1,200 pounds of doors between the two door packages.
